People with chronic stress are at increased risk for developing other health conditions including high blood pressure, heart disease, anxiety, and depression.
Stress management techniques can both reduce your current symptoms and reduce the chances of future health complications arising from chronic stress. Methods for managing stress include psychotherapy, cognitive behavioural therapy (CBT), meditation, art therapy, and yoga therapy.
