Jeannette Qhek is from Singapore, with 5 years of international living experience in China, which brings a wealth of cross-cultural insights to her practice. She has worked with a broad spectrum of clients on various issues, including: trauma, stress, anxiety, depression, workplace/life transition, grief and loss, and relationship issues.


With a specialisation in positive psychology and mindfulness, she tailors each session to the unique needs of her clients by drawing from a diverse set of tools and techniques. These primarily include Mindfulness-based Cognitive Behavioural Therapy, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Emotional-Focused Techniques (EFT) Gestalt, and Somatic Therapy. 


Jeannette’s therapeutic approach is firmly grounded in a person-centered philosophy. She believes that each individual is unique with their own inherent gifts and that it is crucial to facilitate the client’s self-exploration without dismissing any facet of their individual journey. She journeys with her clients to help them discover empowerment and courage from within to fulfil their fullest potential.


Jeannette is available for in-person and online therapy sessions in both English and Mandarin.

  • Masters of Counselling (Distinction), Monash University
  • Postgraduate Diploma in Positive Psychology & Mindfulness (High Distinction), Aventis Graduate School
  • Bachelor of Social Sciences (Psychology), Singapore Management University
  • Post - Graduate Diploma in Applied Positive Psychology and Mindfulness (Distinction)
