Zina has a strong belief in a holistic approach to therapy to address the uniqueness of each individual. Her counseling philosophy relies on a warm and empathic psychological approach to help individuals address challenges encountered, empowering them to cultivate a more positive outlook on themselves and their life situations.


Zina has worked as a supervised psychologist at Lyon Central Hospital in France (Lyon C.H.U, Croix-Rousse Hospital, France) within the dependency department where she is supervised on a yearly basis. Her institutional experience allowed her to experience a broad spectrum of areas such as anxiety, stress, depression, post-traumatic disorder, and eating disorders.


Zina is also a couples-trained therapist aiming to help couples build stronger relationships and a healthier way to cope with intimate relationships and life transitions.

Her extensive corporate background as a General Manager in a global multinational corporation coupled with her extensive training at INSEAD led her to offer career coaching and address professional environment challenges.


She can apply techniques such as Cognitive Behavioural Therapy, Gottman Couple Therapy, and Psychological Genealogy Therapy to realize family genograms. She has witnessed the remarkable impact of those tools in addressing a wide range of issues, such as depression, stress, anxiety, self-esteem, and family traumas.

Zina is French and offers counseling in French, English, Japanese, and Arabic.

Biography


Zina comes from an 18-year corporate management background and made a career change to fulfill her will for a more empathetic approach to human relationships. She holds a Bachelor's degree in Clinical psychology and is currently finalizing a Master's degree in Clinical Psychology in the UK to become a chartered psychologist.


She is also a 3rd year doctoral candidate currently completing a Ph.D. in International Human Resources. Her academic research involves the effects of gender identity in leadership across multinational corporations advocating for diversity, inclusion, and women empowerment in global organizations in Asia.

Her long living, studying, and working experience in Japan led her to be a Japanese culture adept, and her approach to psychology is infused with Ikigai
