Counselor and Psychotherapist


Grace comes from a corporate management background, and is currently completing her doctoral study which involves research on the effects of coaching across the functionings of leadership, employees and the workplace environment.


She counsels clients in areas such as stress, anger, and anxiety. Grace also provides family counselling, marriage counselling and career counselling, as well as coaching for leaders and executives.


An experienced practitioner of multiple therapies, Grace can apply techniques from disciplines such as Cognitive Behavioural Therapy, Dialectical Behavioural Therapy, Solutions-Focused Brief Therapy, and Clinical Hypnotherapy.


Grace offers counselling in English.

Biography


Grace is fuelled by her compassion and works consultatively and synergistically with her clients, to support and facilitate their self-discovery and intentional goal-setting. She is dedicated to motivate and empower them to take action and establish applied strategies within themselves to enhance their emotional wellbeing. She ensures that her clients feel safe, acknowledged and accepted, and that they are heard with understanding, respect and without judgement.

 

Utilising a variety of therapeutic modalities such as Dialectical Behavioural Therapy (DBT), Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Trauma-focused CBT, Solutions Focused Brief Therapy, and Clinical Hypnotherapy, Grace works with clients with various challenges such as hyperachievement, stress and burnout; perfectionism, control and maladjustment issues; depression; anxiety; social anxiety; self-esteem issues; emotional dysregulation; relationship and family issues; couples counselling; self-injury; domestic violence; and postpartum mental health. 

 

Grace’s extensive corporate and management experience also enables her to work with clients who may not have psychological challenges but are keen to be coached to achieve higher performance and to commence on a journey to actualise fuller potential. 


Her current doctoral study comprises research on collectivistic culture and high-performance systems and the remedial effects of coaching and positive psychology based interventions for improvement across the functionings of leadership, employees and the workplace environment.

 

She works with leaders, executives and professionals to diagnose and mitigate counterproductive workplace behaviours for more effective organisational functioning and to facilitate their personal improvement of career satisfaction and goal achievement.

 

Grace is inspired to aid her clients to heal the disconnect from their authentic selves, break old, maladaptive patterns and be courageous to overcome the troughs of their personal mountains.
