Dramatherapist


Ambre is a pioneering Dramatherapist in Singapore passionate about empowering individuals to discover their own language of expression. Ambre is French-Singaporean, she has lived in Singapore, China and the United Kingdom. Her work is cross-culturally sensitive, drawing on various frameworks, understandings and practices underpinned by trauma-informed approaches. Her focus is on creating a relationally safe and nurturing space for exploration. Her practice harnesses the creative and embodied processes to help clients retrieve their compassionate selves and ignite healing within. Ambre is currently also training in Trauma-informed Relational Somatics (TIRS) therapy. 


Ambre offers individual and group therapy to children, adolescents and adults. She has experience working with various client groups in mental healthcare, special education and different community groups.

Qualifications


  • Masters in Dramatherapy
  • Registered with Health and Care Professions Council United Kingdom (HCPC)
  • British Association of Dramatherapists (BADth)
  • Australian, New Zealand and Asian Creative Arts Therapy Association (ANZACATA).

Biography



Ambre is a pioneering Dramatherapist in Singapore passionate about empowering individuals to discover their language of expression that works best for them. Ambre offers a gentle guiding presence, journeying alongside her clients to help them retrieve their compassionate selves and ignite healing within. She is interested in supporting individuals to uncover their own innate resources through empowering creative expression and rekindling the mind-body connection. 


Ambre has experience working with various client groups across different settings. This includes the Neurodivergent community, trauma, abuse, people who are struggling with anxiety, depression, stress and overwhelm. Ambre is equally passionate to support individuals who are interested in personal development. She offers individual and group therapy for children, adolescents and adults. 


Ambre believes that there is no one best approach. Her work is cross-culturally sensitive, drawing on various frameworks, understandings and practices underpinned by trauma-informed approaches so as to meet and support her clients where they are at. Her focus is on creating a relationally safe and nurturing space for exploration. Her practice is collaborative, harnessing the creative and embodied processes. As someone who truly believes in the mind-body connection as well as the healing powers of somatic experiencing, Ambre is also training in Trauma-informed Relational Somatics (TIRS) therapy.
