We occasionally have to grieve something we’ve lost but we can also grieve unfulfilled desires and dreams. Either way, grieving cannot be ignored. It can only be delayed. Some feel the grief is so intense that they are afraid to face it but facing it with or without support is the most important thing you can do in order to gain a foothold and feel stronger. It’s important to acknowledge the loss before one can begin to explore the many options for moving forward.
